Mummy and I have been sewing on more harnesses, trying to get them completed before we leave the end of this month for our two-month-long EASTERN ADVENTURE, exploring the USA. These pretty harnesses were made from laces and trims that Mummy and I found in Paris last year! Each one is in a different color, and made with different antique laces, but the antique lace panel in the center is the same on each one. All of the laces are very, very old and it took a long time to wash, iron and cut everything out. We found the new trims in a really, really cute shop… which is where we also found the darling little flower buttons that will be sewn onto the collar of each harness. Our “initial” will be sewn underneath each flower to make it easier to match the harness up with the correct doggie that it belongs to. When Mummy bought the flower buttons and all of the trims, she had no idea what she would eventually use them for… they just HAPPENED to all match up when we went to make these ANTIQUE PARIS HARNESSES! The body of the harness is made from an unbleached, soft muslin and goes perfectly with the antique feel. We are both very pleased with the result. Although it took over a week to get them finished, I think the result was worth it. What do you think? We will pack these to take with us on our trip and I hope that we are able to show them off to some of our friends at a face-to-face meet up! Please don’t forget to contact us through this webpage with your phone number and email address if we are coming through your city and you would like to meet up with us. I have posted our travel schedule on a previous post. We sure are getting excited about our summer trip and we hope to see some of you this summer. KISS KISS!!!
