TULIP’S 5th BIRTHDAY

Four years ago today, a little yorkie was picked up by Florida Yorkie Rescue. She was estimated to be only one year old and had been starved almost to death. She lost one of her eyes and was in danger of losing her other eye, but through the dedication of the RESCUE and the excellent veterinary care she received while in Florida, she began to thrive. She was given the name TULIP by the staff at the vet’s clinic where she had been dropped off by an unknown person. We adopted Tulip 4 years ago and she has been the happiest little light to grace our family. Since she was found on February 24th, Mummy decided to give THAT DAY to her as her birthday…which also happens to be MUMMY’S BIRTHDAY too…so now they share a very special day. Four years ago our sister Tulip almost died from neglect at the hands of people who really should never own a little dog…but she is alive and happy today because so many OTHER PEOPLE still care so much about the furbabies in the world. HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY TULIP!

She is just darling and I am so glad someone who loves her now has her to take care of. I don’t understand how anyone can be mean to or not take care of their little animals. I also have a little yorkie that needed a new home and I was fortunate to get her. She is so sweet and loving and has stolen our hearts. And we have also stolen hers.

Oh Tulip Cherie, you’ve been blessed by the BEST family a little yorkie could ever have! I could cry to read about your first year, but am so happy for you now!
